Thanks. They've updated my flight to this nonstop PEK-EWR flight (the fare class changed from (I) to (P) though. Don't even know what this means. Still say United BusinessFirst class).

UPDATE: And a few minutes later the fare class went back to (I). Weird.

You should push to get the nonstop PEK-EWR; you'll be in better shape, why not ask for that?

That plane is a 2-class UA config, with no middle seats.

Same seat as PEK-EWR on UA, meal service your choice. On this one I'd vote UA.
