OP, I think you are better off dropping the debate. There is no point in defending yourself. If anything, just acknowledge that you did not follow this forum's sticky and move on - post separately your status match question in each hotel program's forum if you cannot find in each forum where the information is.

If you saw the airlines status match thread in MilesBuzz (it is not Miles Buzz), maybe you could have posted there instead?

When I looked, I at least found the status match thread for SPG. If the information you are looking for is not in there, just post in that thread.
