Similar story for me too only you can add in the beverage carts too. I've been woken up more than once by a beverage cart ramming into my shoulder (and have yet to get an apology). I also find the window seat is much less frequently pulled on by the person getting up behind me than when I was in an aisle seat
Yes, it is very strange that flight attendants NEVER apologize for this. Its almost like they are trained not to. Even very polite FAs won't acknowledge me when they whack my knee, elbow, head, or shoulder with the beverage cart.
