Please tell me that you're not surprised by this. Why would the hotel allow you to register him in two different rooms simultaneously for the sole purpose of obtaining a breakfast to which he is not entitled under the published rules?

How do you know that it was better than the hotel breakfast if you didn't have the hotel breakfast for comparison?

Do you believe that the fact that your rate is "several hundred dollars per night" entitles you to obtain at no charge anything for which the hotel charges $5 or less? Then why breakfast?
