To clear up a few uncertainties:
- I booked both rooms for two - not single rooms.
- I wasn't allowed to register my associate in both "his" room and "my" room - he had to be registered in "his" room only. Otherwise that would have been a simple solution!
- In the event we went out for breakfast - we didn't have it in the hotel! I believe we had a better breakfast as a result, too.
As for people saying why should the customer kick up a fuss about a $4 breakfast... you could make that argument equally to the hotel, especially when I'm the one paying several hundred dollars per night! I will definitely think twice about staying there again.
