Air carriers are not governed by the same liquor rules that apply in a particular state, they are governed by the DOT. This Flight Attendant was making up some crazy nonsense, or probably heard someone else say it and just went with it. It's embarrassing. Please write the company so somebody can let her know what the actual policy and service standard is.
