I suggest that there are extremely few issues concerning which the number of customers who feel strongly enough about it is large enough to get Starwood's attention. It does happen, though, as with the addition of free internet for PLTs after consistent complaints here. But this is a very rare occurrence; and I don't see it happening with this particular issue.
I agree that this probably is not an issue that generates much of a blip on the Starwood radar.
When a Plat travels by himself/herself there is no problem. When a Plat travels with their spouse, the rule works just fine. Now when that Plat travels with a customer/future customer who is in a separate room and the Plat wants to "buy" their customer's breakfast on the cheap, oops there is a problem!
