Believe me, Tesco didn't choose to present its figures like this. Its like for like sales fell by 3.7% in three months. The (other) FT puts it this way: if Jack Cohen was Augustus, and Terry Leahey was Trajan, the current CEO is Diocletian and what is needed is a Constantine!
