Ok, I’m completely new to this and I’ve read a ton of these threads but it’s very confusing so figured I would simply ask. I need to spend $1,000 more to hit my numbers. I’ve already used amazon payments for the month. I was thinking about 3 different options:

#1- Go buy 2 $500 amex gift cards at Walgreens
#2- Buy a single $1,000 amex gift card online and pay the $8.95 shipping and $3.95 activation fee
#3- Send $1,000 to a family member via paypal
#4- Open to suggestions

My questions:
Will any of the above trigger a cash advance fee with a Chase Southwest.

I know paypal will charge me $29 fee for that but it may be worth it to not have to mess with the Amex cards and turning them back into cash. Plus, if I do paypal or buy locally, I know the transaction should post quickly vs. the potential of a long pending.

I’m also open to other suggestions. Thanks for the help!
