I have struggled with them ever since BA moved allegiance from Sainsbury's to Tesco. I have so many bad experiences with Tesco I have almost given up on them despite the lure of avios.
What about a BA waitrose tie up; wouldn't that be more fitting? Or even M&S?

Tesco's fall in sales/customers may encourage them to offer incentives to get some big spenders back
maybe a bonus offer on exchanging clubcard points-avios
