On US domestic flights, I used to prefer aisle seats, but I get so tired of being bashed in the head and shoulders by backpack and purses during boarding. So now I've switched to window seats only. It helps avoid having to stow the laptop and other gear so that seatmates can go to the bathroom.
On TATL or TPAC, I always choose a window seat towards the rear of the J cabin for a reason I haven't seen anyone mention yet - to be as far away as possible from the vibration caused by FAs and other passengers walking by on the flexi-floor aisle. That comes through as a vibration and sets off my Dad-alarm, waking me up. FAs chatting in the galley are also bothersome, so the strategy helps that too.
