He is not even on the Business upgrade list. I don't understand this process. UA says they don't have his passport info. I am sure he was unaware as the contracted agency should be required to put it in but they didn't even get the birthday right (I fixed that on the phone w/UA but I don't have his passport info because he has a new one).

Update: Ok, on list now at no. 12 (ahead of the non-revs). I see a biz seat has been restored to the map and it wasn't a first upgrade because that seat is still there. 2030 in DXB.

I may be woefully inexperienced on UA stuff, but I know the fluidity of change at departure. Airline brand is not exceptional to that activity. I remain hopeful.
