I own expensive watches (Breitling, Rolex and Omega) but I don't travel with them. I don't want to be mugged and loose $8k or more... My everyday watch is a $40 Timex expedition. I do have a passion for titanium watches and own a Seiko and Casio titanium watch in addition to the Breitling Aerospace titanium.

I look after it but I wouldn't really be worried if it was lost. I am shifting my thinking towards the expensive watches being heirlooms for my kids kids.
