Just call and ask. Either way you will need to make the change. I wouldn't waste 10 seconds on this. Your employer may want, in future, to look at purchasing flexible tickets for trips where multiple changes may be in order.
Gotta be careful with this. UA has both flexible and refundable tickets. Flexible tickets can be changed and refunded, but often with a fee which varies.
I've bought flexible C tickets internationally because they're much cheaper than a fully refundable ticket but carry a $400-500 fee for changes and refunds. It's a good middle ground that allowed me to buy up from a Y/B without breaking the bank and getting into trouble with a non-refundable ticket.
