So as you say the replacement of Finnish cabin crew has got too much media fuss because we all thought it was about the money and greed. On both sides I feel, as senior cabin crew packages are out of date, as will be the CEO's $million dollar bonus after he replaces them with cheap foreign (non EU) labour.
The financial side has been covered on another thread - I'd like to stick to the topic of this thread and is the Finnair CEO correct in saying that he has unsafe cabin crew practices?
I think this whole safety issue around CC language skill is total nonsense...useless thread if you ask me...where did he say they have unsafe CC practices today..?..All I read is that also safety could be improved in some cases if they had more CC who spoke the native language of pax...it does not equal unsafe current practices. Making good better doesn't mean that it was bad to begin with..
