If convenience is important and $$ are less of an issue for OP and they want to sit together, take the LH B744 with new C, or go via MUC (which is a way better airport anyway) on the A333. Old LH C won't factor much in the equation by next September.

Otherwise, if OP wants to save $$, nothing beats no YQ C on LX A333/343 via ZRH IMO, and LO B788 via WAW is ok too for the novelty factor, but then you are connecting in YUL or YYZ.
