I agree, number 2) seems to be the best. Enjoy a good Argentine steak, do some sightseeing and then head to AEP.

HIDDY, EZE has an arrival lounge from Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, fully equipped. And there IS an airside Lounge at AEP, from the same brand.. Aeropuertos Argentina 2000. This one is more basic tho. Not sure if there are showers. And it's very expensive as well. Not worth it IMO.
