Having flown both Air Canada mainline A319 and Rouge A319 in the past 6 weeks in J and Rouge Fake J, I can tell you, guarantee you, that there is no comparison of the supposed 5 in recline on the Rouge Premium and the recline on the mainline J....it is nowhere at all as comfortable or even equal to the recline on the mainline product. That is why I suspect it might not really be a 5 inch recline on the Rouge Premium seat. Granted I didn't have a tapemeasure on either flight...and since I have no intention of ever getting on another Rouge flight again if I can possibly help it I doubt I'll ever have a chance to actually measure it.
But I stand by my review....the Rouge seats, no matter which class, are absolutely horrific and the recline in Rouge Premium and Rouge Plus is so small as to be useless.

BTW....i never discuss or compare the Y product because I just refuse to fly it.
