Susan was away during our 9 nights stay, and Bagi was in charge during her absence. If someone as experienced as Bagi is there, I would not feel the need to wait for a new GM, at least we felt that we were taken really good care of, but totally agree that a sudden departure can create issues.
I did not realize that Bagi was the assistant GM there. I did not interact with him at all when I was there, as Susan seemed to be omnipresent, and there was no need to do so. I actually never even met him, so maybe he was away.
I guess this could reduce the disruption a little as long as he has a good relationship with the other managers and staff.
