Her firing will probably result in a destabilization of service for a few months. It takes time to build a relationship with other managers and staff and this will take even more time for someone new if everyone liked her and her departure was a surprise.
If I was planning to go to Amano'i in the next 2-3 months, I would seriously reconsider until they are able to get a new, permanent, GM in there and this person has had the time to figure everything out.
Susan was away during our 9 nights stay, and Bagi was in charge during her absence. If someone as experienced as Bagi is there, I would not feel the need to wait for a new GM, at least we felt that we were taken really good care of, but totally agree that a sudden departure can create issues.
