I have had a Hilton BRG honored. I only tried once, but it worked out after three emails. The lower rate was honored and the AmEx gift card came in the mail about a week after the stay. I think if you know the terms allow Hilton 24 hours to review the claim, why would you get upset if they review the claim at 23 hours. You win some, and you lose some because the price changes. Your indignation would be more valid if the Hilton response was after 24 hours.
