On June 15 I am going to watch a friend of mine do some cowboy style shooting. This is part of the Single Action Shooting Society type of activities. I have not been to this group's functions before. I think it is a smaller group. With the heat, they may not dress up in the old style cowboy clothing that weekend.

Along those lines he could go to a local indoor gun range and blast off a few rounds. Then again, he could just visit one of my neighbors as they practice just about every weekend, if not during the week. I am not quite sure who they think war is going to breakout with.

If he wants to mix shooting with horses, what could be more cowboy, I have another friend who does mounted shooting events such as the Mounted Shooters of America type stuff. I think they are popping numerous caps in Stephenville the same weekend.
