IHG states the have no blackout dates to use points, but many of there high end properties have a very limited number of rooms available to use point at. Specifically the bora bora properties, now, doesn't that seem a little misleading? They effectively put in black out dates by limiting availability.

Am I overreacting to this or do I have a valid point that they are being misleading about their policy?
