I assume this was an email you received from Starwood. If so, why would you as a Platinum have received this email promoting something that is not availed to Platinum members unless they call the SPG Preferred line instead of the Platinum line (according to William)?
This verbiage was copied & pasted from a Voice Assist help link on the My Profile page of spg.com. Personalized Voice Assist wasn’t promoted to Platinum members because the initial launch didn’t include the Platinum line.
Once we discovered that a few Platinum members had been calling on the Preferred & Gold lines and registering, we began working on a post for Flyer Talk. UA-NYC just happened to beat us to the punch by posting before we could!
