Rouge Plus for overnight LAS-YUL? [A319]

Friends don't friends fly Rouge is what I tell my family and others.

Ugh, but I will be. I want to see what Vegas is like on the 4th of July, so I decided to book a trip that would get me to Vegas on the 1st (from YOW via YYZ and SFO - UA codeshare P pricing on Air Canada is awesome ), and then I would leave Vegas on the Friday, but would take the red-eye Rouge back to Ottawa, via Montreal; ugh, sorry, I am from Montreal and still live there, but last February when I transited through Montreal coming back from Vegas, I made a promise that I would NEVER transit through Montreal ever again. But as it was cheaper by quite a margin, I chose that flight instead.

Anyways, to lessen the (potential) pain, and also in attempt to get some sleep, is it better to pay $46 for a preferred aisle seat (4C), or just pay $31 for a normal (C) aisle seat.

Thanks all!
