Does anyone have experience regarding changing *A award flights?
In the A3
T&Cs:
Members are able to change Ticket’s date and time, up to 30 minutes before flight’s departure time, upon a re-issue fee of 20 Euros per ticket.
I have an award booking (one way, two flights with two different *A partners) that I need to change, but I am curious what I am allowed to do and what not. The origin and destination would be the same, so for sure I should be allowed to change to the same flights on different days.
But what about connecting somewhere else? What about different carriers? The award ticket is issued on A3 390 stock, so from that point of view it doesn't seem to be linked to any of the carriers.
In this particular case, the taxes and fees would be lower with another connection+carrier, so I am even considering outright cancelling the original ticket and making a new booking for 20+20e cancellation+booking fee, instead of the 20e change fee.
