T1 and T2 used to use the same FCC and as the new one is linked airside to T1 I suspect that will still be the case.

Back to landside transfers:
Please note if you have an Oyster card (for free travel on the tube between T5 and T2) I'd advise taking the tube to T2 as the tube is closer to T2 than the Heathrow Express.

If you don't have an Oyster card then I'd recommend the Heathrow Express as it's not worth paying for the tube to save a couple of minutes walking.
