Hilton BRG has a way to "weasel" out of most claims, even if the claim seems to comply with all of the conditions. Yes it is lame and there is a big thread on successes and frustrating disappointments

They don't really need to exert marketing muscle. Trip Advisor terms and conditions are quite vague and restrictive. A hotel only has to complain that it's not true, you were not a guest, you are malicious, the review is a personal attack etc. and Trip Advisor will take it down.
