No. How much do they charge? I don't think the product is the problem for most people (after all FR seems to be doing quite alright with the same pitch). I suspect its the price that they're paying for the product that is ticking them off.

As an aside, Skytrax, which has given AC its 'best in North America bragging rights, now has the following ratings on display:

Jetstar: 5.5 or 6/10 on 685 ratings
AC Rouge: 2/10 on 204 reviews.

I suspect the discrepancy there is based on the price, not the product. Australians have access to some of the best products out there, so I suspect they're better able to recognize value-for-money than your average Canada with limited exposure to good products and good prices. For one, they fly more on a per capita basis than Canadians do. I mean:

•Canada’s population is around 50% larger, but Australia has more air travel: 78 million passengers travel to, from and within Australia, compared to 71 million for Canada.

I'm going to guess that the big difference between JQ and Rouge is the price.
