What will happen if I try to make a payment with an AMEX gift card that has insufficient funds? I'm almost too embarrassed to admit this, but I have a AMEX gc that's assigned to one of my AP accounts, but I'm not sure how much is on there and I can't seem to find that card. If I submit a payment with this card and there are insufficient funds, will AP notify me RIGHT away or will it show pending first before a notice is emailed later?
