1) Take a taxi from EZE-AEP and spend 4-5 hours at AEP. Are there any lounges with showers at AEP?
2) Hire a car with driver and head into BA centro and have a leisurely lunch and do some shopping/sightseeing and then head to AEP? Is it safe to leave your luggage in the back of a car of a hired car with driver?
3) I don't know if this is possible, but if there are any hotels in BA centro that offers a day rate - check in at the hotel, take a shower, leave your luggage at the hotel and spend a few hours in BA before heading out to AEP?
Also, are there any shower facilities at EZE for arriving international passengers (e.g. Arrivals Lounge at LHR, FRA and HKG)?
As I always go home on arrival at EZE I'm not very au fait with most things you're asking.
Happy to be corrected but EZE does not have a normal arrival lounge as such and AEP doesn't have any airside lounges at all.
Therefore I think the idea of taking a room in the centre is a good one. That'll allow you to freshen up have breakfast and leave your bags and get out for a few hours sightseeing. Unfortunately day rooms are hard to book in advance and can be just as expensive as a discounted one night rate so it might be worth your while just booking for the night before you arrive especially if you have status which allows late check out. Worth sending whichever property you choose an email explaining the situation and see if they can offer you a deal before you book.
