I will be taking AC 881 from CDG to YYZ in your business class this fall. The seat (pod) configuration is 1+2 on this 767-300 (763) with the single pods on the left side of the plane (facing front). Since my surgery on my left knee over a year ago, I have generally opted for aisle seats on the right side of the plane so that I can extend my left leg periodically during a long flight. So I asked for a pod (seat K) on the right side of the plane. But it occurred to me that, since these are individual pods, it may not make any difference whether I'm sitting/lying on the right or left side of the plane and that I can stretch my left leg even if I'm on the left side of the plane. Is this assumption correct? If so, I'll ask for a single pod on the left side of the plane because of the privacy it affords. However, if my assumption is incorrect, I'll stay with the seat I now have.

Your response will make a difference in the degree of comfort I'll experience in this 8.5 hour flight.
