You think that's quite a savings, you should look at Asia fares ex SEA versus ex YVR! The typical fare out of that less than stellar SEA to HKG runs around 500-800 USD, including fares on our own AC product. The same AC flight ex YVR can run 1500-1800 CAD. And the simple answer is there's more competition south of the border. Too bad I don't live closer to SEA...
