I guess my question is whet here an AC flight number counts as a star alliance flight. It seems it does not.

While I understand that the real point of code share flights is price fixing, I thought that the airlines were at least required to throw consumers a couple of bones around shared infrastructure and facilities. Maybe that doesn't apply here.
