Is this right? Can AC and UA sell paid C tickets through LHR to DUB with zero lounge access? I checked at the EI lounge, and they let me in but said they weren't supposed to.

Anyone know?
To have access to Star Alliance departure lounges, you need to be departing on a Star Alliance flight. That said, as you're referring to "paid C," you should have access to the Air Canada Arrivals Lounge at LHR before going to your connection to DUB.
