Row 12 AC and HK seem to be the most popular yet they seem to have advantages and disadvantages.

These are the best PE seats for straight-down vertical viewing, in spite of only one window, and the location is quite private;

Lack of a footrest and in-armrest IFE have been mentioned as negatives.

So, in reality, what's the best choice?

Row 13 has two well positioned windows, but limited viewing, footrests and seatback IFEs;

Row 14 is most private, it's windows are just overwing and have only brief ground views in a steep bank. But can row 14 recline fully?

So, what to choose? How important is the footrest to 5'6"ers?

How much of a hassle is the armrest IFE compared with the seatback ones?

Is the "missing" window at the Row 12 bulkhead really a problem?

I guess these questions will become more relative as the 788 expands service to HND and eventually TLV.
