It is probably just my imagination, but I always feel that the Jetconnect 737s have tighter legroom in Y than those flown by QF. Although the seating configs are the same, I seem to graze my knees on the seat in front more often on Jetconnect.

I heard that cockpit crew are migrating to Air New Zealand (now they are recruiting) creating shortages up front, too. But this was 6 months ago.
