Visited a few lounges in the past few days.
AKL Domestic in the early afternoon - no complaints, although you can really see the cutbacks in the food offering. Despite spreading it over a larger area, it's much more sparse than in the past. The liquor offerings have really dropped too; although were no use to me anyway (post-wedding hangover).
ZQN in the morning - terrible IMO. The lounge itself is nice, but the offerings are now on-par (or maybe below) United Clubs, with the sole exception of the alcohol in the refrigerator. Which wasn't useful at 9am.
CHC domestic in just after noon - reasonably nice, the food offerings were a bit grubby/poor but I suppose if you were desperate, they were okay (the club sandwiches looked a bit sus to me; and I couldn't eat the fish hot item).
AKL international in the early-ish morning: reasonable, relatively empty, but the kitchen area is still a major bottleneck for through-traffic to enter/exit the lounge and people clustering around the relatively densely packed sparse food. Quite the contrast to the MEL QF F lounge where I'm currently the only person here...
