p.s. I know that Alaska's policy is to allow 10" H x 17" W x 24" L, but I am not sure whether a 24" bag actually fits. My current bag (10" x 13" x 22") seems to go to the edge of the compartment; not sure if an extra 2" actually will fit in there.
