Hello everyone,
Though pt I would give a bit of follow up in case anyone searches this post.
My flight landed a bit early, but was able to go from the plane to the Silver Line (well marked) in about 6 minutes, and Silver Line to South Station was 20 minutes max. Once one gets to South Station, one has to walk up a set of stairs and out of the bus portion to the Amtrak portion of south station. There are plenty of places to get a soda or snack while waiting, no real near for the Club Acela lounge.

I paid for business class, but frankly can not see why anyone would do this for a trip as short as Boston-Connecticut. The seats aren't much wider, there are no dividers between them, leg room in coach is about the same as domestic first class, do you really care if you have 40 or 45 inches of leg room?

Even though I paid for business, I actually sat in the coach section of the bar car, which was 2x1 instead of 2x2 for the rest of the train (coach and business class). I have the impression this was an anomaly, as it was only the seats in the bar car, but don't travel enough to confirm.

Want to say thanks to everyone who provided advice as to how to get from Logan via Silver Line (free) to South Station, it was an easy and reliable 20-30 minute transfer.

Thanks again!!
