Can't offer any opinion on Club World but I did a return LHR-YYZ last week. It was my first time on both the 787 (outbound) and the 747 (inbound).

My personal opinion was that I disliked the 787. The IFE was great but I felt very travelsick which I haven't done for over a decade and the (WT+) seat was very uncomfortable. The 747 on the way back was much better, much more comfortable seating and a better feeling of space.

In fact, this journey is what prompted me to register as thanks to my lurking on here I selected the economy bulkhead seats on check in and received a free upgrade to good WT+ seats in both directions. From a booking by 2 pax with no status in the cheapest of cheap fare buckets that quoted me £919 to upgrade to WT+ one way on the day before we flew, we were both amazed and grateful to manage this!
