Anybody able to churn the Marriott Visa card and get it a second time or more?

Just got rejected for second application according to phone rep because I had too much credit open......
My Equifax credit score last month was 763, I make 100k+ and only have an AMEX Gold and a CIBC Visa that are both paid off each month so was surprised.
