Stayed here for three nights on lowest standard rate and was supposedly upgraded to an executive room. Sorry to say that if they call what I stayed in "executive" I wouldn't want to venture in staying in a non-executive room. It was possibly the tiniest, most claustrophobic room I've stayed in at any SPG property. There was just enough space to walk around the perimeter of my bed. So much for being Plat.
(Maybe my expectations have been set too high having checked in from a stay at the Meridien Vienna, where I was upgraded to an executive suite -- it's superb.)
Other grouses were a very crowded breakfast restaurant. I had to queue on all three mornings to get in there, and sometimes it appeared like there was a mini mad rush by guests to grab whatever food could be put out by the kitchen. (I learnt later that this hotel is Paris's biggest business property.)
Selection of food was very average.
Lots of random teenagers hanging around outside of the hotel being noisy over the three days too. Not very business-like.
