Does anyone know if the Delta low availability calendar matches the Virgin availability?
I want to go to LAX next week using my AMEX points.
It is available for 25K on delta, but it would be better if I could redeem 20K Amex to virgin and book through them.
I am just now worried that the availability is the same.

Also should the required miles change if there is a connection and not direct flights?
Example:
Would MSY-LAX be priced the same as MSY-ATL-LAX?

Finally are oneways permissable on Delta using Virgin miles?

Never used Virgin before but with the AMEX transfer bonus I am thinging about trying out the program.
