QF still flies WLG-MEL vv, albeit not as many flights as WLG-SYD vv. In the afternoon the aircraft swap over at WLG so one does MEL-WLG-SYD and the other does SYD-WLG-MEL.
Sorry just to clarify I was talking about the WLG based crews, currently short of crews, who only fly to SYD now, sometimes even via AKL...AKL based crews go to all Australian destinations. From September/October the ZQN flights will also be Jetconnect flights but unknown which crew base it will be.
Aircraft rotations are AKL-MEL-WLG-SYD-AKL or AKL-SYD-AKL-SYD-WLG-SYD-WLG-MEL-AKL (of course over two days).
