To the OP: your criteria seems to be that you want a reward that good for airlines, airport lounge access and not American Express. Well, Chase UR, AmEx MR and SPG Starpoints are the 3 main transferable programs, and you've eliminated them.
What else is there? Have you looked a the Citi Prestige Card? Depending on your usage, it may or may not be better than the AA Executive card, but it does fit your criteria.
