Stayed at the Manila CP a few months back for business. Booked a standard king room, but was upgraded to a full suite (separate living room, large bedroom, very large bathroom). First time I've ever been upgraded from the most basic room to a suite at any IHG property, let alone more than 2 categories.

Hotel will seem a bit worn for those used to staying in other large Asian cities, but is actually very nice for a Manila hotel (hotels in Manila tend to be old... e.g., rooms at [the newer] Makati Holiday Inn were way nicer than the Mandarin Oriental. This should change as newer hotels come online / older hotels finally refurbish).

The most interesting feature of the hotel is the Gold's Gym shared with the attached Holiday Inn. It's a full service Gold's (complimentary for hotel guests) that includes a full size boxing ring and exercising equipment from the 80s. The whole place is blazing red and blue.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if business brought me back to this part of Manila.
