You might want to consider the RI Bethesda for your CAT 5 cert(s) as the public parking lot near it is free on weekends and there is a metro stop a 5 min walk away.
I had a good stay at Residence Inn Arlington Pentagon City with my family and it's only a a Cat 4 (Shhh!!) for folks looking to use up their Certs!

Shuttle to/from metro stop on demand or you can walk it. Shopping mall/some restaurants near by.

Parking was about $20ish per night and the garage columns are bit of a pain to navigate. There is street parking near by but I didn't explore further.
