Cool! I was there at the exact same time last year. I love the place. My wife and I try to go as much as possible (but the fact that my wife is Icelandic plays into this a bit!).
You'll have 24 hr sunlight and will be able to get a ton done. If you have a few days, I would recommend doing the entire ring road.
