Hi there, interesting that you highlight DXB-DOH because that's precisely the sector where you will be able to use up 7,500 miles - it's the exact figure needed for an upgrade BUT based on a Flex type fare rather than Saver (which would indeed require 10,000 as quoted during your website enquiry)

All that aside, you do seem to have had some bad experiences, and you're certainly not the first to point to the rapid rate of expansion as a potential source of problems. I have had a number of issues myself with Emirates, but they have (so far) been related exclusively to service standards 'on the ground' rather than in-flight.

It's well known that EK are pretty demanding when it comes to cabin crew recruitment (they are positively flooded with applicants, which gives the luxury of being very picky), but I somehow doubt that they set the bar as high for ground & support staff. And if they do, then I'd say there must be something seriously amiss where training and continuous assessment is concerned.
